Abstract
The proposed Technical Report 鈥淚nternational statistics for聽school libraries鈥� specifies rules for the school library community on聽the collection, interpretation and reporting of statistics:
- for the purpose of strategic planning and internal management of聽school libraries,
- for reporting to stakeholders such as funding institutions,聽politicians, or the public,
- to promote the libraries鈥� role and value for learning and聽education,
- for comparing and aggregating results at a regional, national or聽international level.
